Homer's Story...
Homer is a 1-2 year old Spaniel mix.
He is a great little pup. Quite obedient and he remembered his potty training quickly, even after having been in a shelter for awhile. During his stay at the Fresno SPCA, he was a shelter favorite. Such a nice little boy, and so charming. He sits and stands for treats, comes when he's called, and stops when he's told. He will chase cats if not supervised, but in the house, he's fine with them. Great with other dogs, but would be fine as an only dog, too.
Homer is being fostered in Vacaville.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Homer, a Davis Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Davis, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
