Major's Story...
Watch Major's two brief video clips and you'll see that Major is a fun, loving and good natured party boy who loves other dogs, kids and active family living and loving.

Major was literally rescued off of a major Los Angeles freeway, thus his name, Major. He is POTTY-TRAINED, neutered, healthy, silly and good to go for an active home, ideally, with another dog, though that is not mandatory. Major's wonderful foster dad is going into the military soon, so we are also looking for a loving, supportive foster home for him, too. Major survived the freeway, and now wants to live the good life!

Major loves swimming and playing with small dogs or big dogs!

If you are interested in meeting Major, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet her at our Saturday Adoptions at Centinela Feed.

[Major is about 2 year old and 55-60 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Major, a Marina del Rey Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
