Betty Boop's Story...
Hi there , I am Betty Boop a sweet gentle little Beagle with a nose that can sniff out any mystery ( and a voice that can tell you all about it! Good thing I only use it when I have something really important to say- I am one of those rare quiet beagles!) At 4 years old I am a great age, and at 20 pounds a great size too. I do well with other dogs but don't enjoy the company of cats. I will be fine with kids too. If you are a loving family looking for a even more loving pet I think may have found your match- read up on the Beagle and then come on in (let's make sure you've done your research before you fall in love- because believe me you will!)My adoption fee is $200 and includes: current shots, spay, 1 month pet health insurance, 5 week training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betty Boop, a Portland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
