My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walle – If there was ever an extra sweet and happy boy that would be Walle. He is a young chocolate lab mix, about 4 months old, who came from a very high kill shelter where he found himself after being picked up as a stray. He weighs about 30 lbs now and fully grown will probably be about 80 lbs. Walle gets along great with all his foster brothers and sisters and loves romping and playing in the yard with them and playing all those silly puppy games. He is pretty playful with the kitty also, so kitty beware. He loves everyone he meets and is a very cuddly and loving boy. His beautiful eyes say it all and they could melt any heart. He would be considered a medium energy guy who likes being with his people and would be a wonderful companion and buddy for any family. Like any puppy, Walle would benefit greatly from obedience classes as he is a fast learner, eager to please and very smart. He really does pretty well on the leash for a young boy but will need continued work and also need to continue working on no jumping when he gets excited. He knows how to give 5 already, and will sit for you most of the time. Walle is really working hard on his house training and he will sit by the back door when he needs to go out. What a boy!
Walle is neutered, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, and micro-chipped. He is also on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Walle is also crate trained. He is a truly awesome boy and if you think he might fit into your easygoing, but active lifestyle, please indicate Walle in the notes section of the online application.
