Lestat's Story...
This precious little boy was found in a box in a dumpster. Thankfully they were moving in the box so the rescuer knew there was something inside! Karma and her brother Lestat were inside, covered in mange and fleas to the point that they had no hair and their skin was bleeding. They were only 6-8 weeks old. After extensive vet work, they have the most beautiful coats and are so sweet and precious! They are 4 months old now, and will probably top the scales between 60 and 70 pounds. We think they are Doberman shepherd mixes! Karma is very outgoing and Lestat is very calm, Yin and Yang! Karma is Black with tan markings and Lestat is Choclolate with Tan markings!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lestat, a Houston Doberman Pinscher/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
