My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We don't normally recommend getting two female doxies but this pair are mother/daughter and have been together Roxie's entire life. We are hoping that we will not have to split them up and that we can find them a home together.

Six year old Gypsy and four year old Roxie were owner surrenders to a central CA shelter. They have been delightful dogs since they got into foster care. They greet everyone nicely. They aren't barkers. They came already housebroken!! They have had no issue with the other dogs and seem to gladly share everything.

Wonderful as this pair is, they are not safe with small critters such as hamsters, rabbits, gerbils, rats, etc. They would prefer a home with children no younger than 8. We don't know how they are with cats.

We've had them both spayed and Gypsy had a complete dental complete with the pulling of some teeth.

Adoption application at www.scdr.org. Tax deductible adoption fee of $425 for the pair. Gypsy is 12.4 lbs, Roxie is 11.7 lbs
