My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People,
My name is Scooter and I’m a darling little eight and a half month old bichon boy. I am very gentle and loving (Mom says that is a wonderful combination) but I am also playful. She says I have lots of energy, a loving heart and am very smart. I get along well with other dogs and cats and am housebroken. I have learned to use the doggie door, like to go for car rides and
can sleep either in my crate or on your bed. I’m also learning to trust people and to even enjoy cuddling – which is a new, and interesting, experience for me! As I learn to trust more, Mom thinks I’ll really enjoy a lot of that ‘cuddling stuff’ – and lots of belly rubs, too!

Mom says I'm just a darling and happy guy who, although timid, likes to be near someone I love. I’ve already learned to go potty outdoors and to walk on a leash (although I will only walk if there is a doggy brother or sister to walk with me.) She says that I really need the company of a doggy brother or sister. (I follow my foster brother everywhere he goes) and I can only be adopted to a home that already has another small dog!

As you can see from my picture, I'm a small and very handsome guy, weighing about 10 pounds. I'm not a barker but will let you know if someone comes to the door. I never growl or act aggressive. The most important thing for you to know is that I need- company. My perfect home would have people around most of the time - and must have another doggy brother or sister!

If I sound like the kind of guy for your family, please complete an application for me at www.bichonfurkids.com/application.htm and ask for Scooter, 'cause I'll be waiting to hear from you.
Love,
Scooter
