Lodi, CA - Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher. Meet Ramsey a Pet for Adoption

Ramsey is such an adorable 3 ½ year old, 12-14 pound Dachshund/Min-Pin mix; he is neutered, current on his vaccinations and has been de-wormed and micro-chipped. He is such a sweet boy and is a playful dog, has a really good personality. He is house-trained and is a housedog. Ramsey used to enjoy being held and cuddled but we think someone dropped him and now he is nervous about being picked up or held. He gets along great with other dogs and should have a canine playmate. He is fine with cats. He rides well in the car, enjoys going bye, bye and absolutely loves going for daily walks (well he used to love walks but something happened during a brief adoption and he has been afraid ever since). He is a great little dog and will need to be in a home with calm adults, he is nervous when around younger kids. Ramsey is a dog that you will need to visit with a few times before taking him home…he will be a challenge but is so worth it. It’s a great feeling to save a needy shelter dog and turn them into wonderful companions. He really is a great little dog.
