My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bodey is a handsome, good natured boy that appears to have had some training in his background. He is very responsive and eager to please, gets along well with people and other pets, an affectionate and loyal companion. He is a young boy, just over a year old and weighs approximately 60 lbs.

Bodey is a very affectionate and obedient dog that is quick to learn. He has huge brown eyes and the biggest smile. He originally came with the name Ceasar but he is just not dominant in any way so the name seemed totally unfitting. He is excellent with children and just shows them his big smile. He loves to be petted and stroked. He has no aggression whatsoever and is always friendly and affectionate with everyone. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is very good with them. He is not a shy dog and the fiercest thing on him is his tongue as he loves to give big kisses but will stop when asked to.

Bodey is crate trained and goes in willingly if asked however he is not currently being crated and does not need to be crated prefering instead to sleep on a dog bed or the carpet where he can stretch out. We do not have a cat in our house but it would probably not be a problem. He at first would lunge at squirrels on his walks but now he just looks and ignores them. He will chase squirrels out of the yard for fun but he has never caught one. Bodey does not seem to have any separation anxiety and accepts whatever is going on without any problems. When you return home he is ecstatic to see you. He enjoys spending some time in the yard on his own chewing sticks and has never been a problem with digging or any other bad behaviour. He only barks if there is good reason and it is not loud.

Here is what else his foster family said about Bodey:

We have become very attached to this boy. We think he would be a great addition to a growing a family and an excellent pet and companion. He is friendly with absolutely everyone and is one of the most social dogs we have ever met. He is intelligent, well behaved, loyal and an all around great dog.
