Olive's Story...
This girl has great features. When she went to adoption she greeted everyone especially children so happily. She prances quite beautifully on a leash and is already fully grown but weighs less than 30 lbs. She has an unusually muted dalmation spots under her white coat. Olive is 3 years old. She is such a great find.
The shelter is located at 650 John HOwell Memorial DRive in Lincontaon. the shelter does not name the animals so if you wanted to know about this dog you would need to use her ID number which is 40473 . Unfortunaately when people surrender or give up their dog they dont' tell them a lot, so please don't expect the shelter to have a long history on these poor "donated' dogs. tha'ts why adopting them is so important.
HOurs 11 to 4 M-sat and and closed Sunday. Open until 5:30 on Thursdays. Adption fee of 85.00 includes the spay or neuter and a rabies vaccines as well as worming. It is a great deal.
Note: Olive could already be housebroken and might be fine with cats. these are factors we cannot determine due to having to stay in a shelter. Please give them a try , you never know!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive, a Lincolnton Dalmatian/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Dalmatian/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Dalmatian/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
