Charlotte 'Charlie' (13 weeks)'s Story...
Charlotte, her brother & sister came to me a bit scared. They are all reserved (at the moment) and on the shy side. I assure you that their demeanor will be that of a total kitten by tomorrow! They are in my "kitty nursery" meeting new friends, wrestling and playing.

Their foster mom rescued them and their birth mother off the street when they were a few weeks. She has run a rescue for many years and has saved many hundreds of cats & kittens. Unfortunately she is ill herself and had to find other foster homes for all her rescues. That is how I came to fostering them.

'Charlie' was a handful for the camera. Out of 20 pics, only these two were useable. She is fun and frisky, independent, but will cuddle up on her terms.

She has had all shots, is spayed and microchipped. She also has received flea/worm preventative.

***June Special: Adopt one kitten and get 50% off the second !***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlotte 'Charlie' (13 weeks), a Philadelphia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
