Sister's Story...
11/12 I am still here waiting patiently for a forever home. I can be standoffish, but I just need a family to give me love and security. Then you will see my love and loyalty!

4/26/10 You wont believe my story....I have been living in an abandoned trailer with 6 other dogs and 2 litters of pups. Allan was called by the SPCA to come and help because there is no animal control, and the problem was out of their jurisdiction. Sister is nursing babies, and she is called Sister because there is another female with pups and they both have blue eyes and are about the same age-about 1 year old. We think they were from the same litter and are now having babies of their own. Yikes! They should be the poster girls for a spay program! Angel the other female has a very bad leg and is at the Vet's so Sister is nursing ALL 10 puppies. She is a great dog...very friendly, and as soon as the pups are weaned-shortly-, she will need to be spayed and available for adoption. Please come see me:) Love Sister All of my pups have been adopted. I am the only one left. Those are new pictures of me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sister, a Quinlan Great Pyrenees/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Husky for sale in Quinlan, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Husky dog from a breeder in Quinlan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quinlan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quinlan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Husky breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quinlan paves the way for another one to be saved.
