I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Samantha is a16 year old girl looking for a loving retirement home. She has had a rough life, she was taken from a home situation where she was neglected. She was very emaciated when she was found and had a UTI. Thanks to the loving care of the animal control she was treated and doing better. Sammy is still very skinny and appears to have arthritis and gait issues but seems content and not in any discomfort. This sweet girl gets along with all dogs, calm, might be hard of hearing, never barks and simply loves being out in a grassy yard and having good food. With the nice weather she enjoys pacing and lying around in the backyard all day, most of all she loves treats! I took her in as a foster so she wouldn't have to live the rest of her days in a shelter but I live in a small apartment and would love to find her a home with a yard and someone to lover her. Samantha has been to the vet and her blood work was normal. They believe her muscle wasting is due to sustained malnutrition; she is eating well now and gaining a little weight. We are looking for a caring, responsible pet owner to take her in. If you feel you want to open your heart and home to a sweet girl in need please fill out an application for Samantha. Her adoption fee would only be a donation of your choosing.
