My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nikki is an 8 years old, less than 10 pound Bichin / Terrier mix of the sweetest disposition. She is independent and very low maintenance, yet loves cuddling with you on the sofa or simply lying down on her blanket by your side. Nikki is not demanding, she is clean in the house and respectful of furniture. She is a fast learner, knows some tricks that she will show you if you dangle a treat or two before her eyes.
Nikki does not like being at home alone. A home with another dog or where someone is home most of the time would be best. Nikki is learning to walk on a leash and is enjoying her outings every day. She will patiently let you brush her, however there are areas where a little patience will be required.
She is sweet and gentle, and adapted very quickly and readily to her new foster environment and it will not take her long to become used to you home. Iin fact you will soon believe that Nikki was always part of your life!
