Chevy's Story...
Meet Chevy! We could not turn this beautiful boy away when the shelter asked if we would take him! We think he is either an Irish setter or retriever mixed with possibly St. Bernard...or he could have some spaniel in him too. What an incredible dog too! He is sweet and smart and will make any family a wonderful companion. He is good with kids, other dogs, cats and just loves attention. He is 4 years old and weighs 89 pounds - a gentle giant! The family who previously owned him surrendered him as a lesson to the kids for not taking care of him since he was "their" dog. Putting poor Chevy's life in danger was no way to teach kids a lesson. We can not put into words what a truly amazing dog this is! Please give Chevy a great a new forever home. Please email inquiries to forrescuetn@gmail.com
