My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

********************************COURTESY POST******************************************
Meet Chloe! Chloe was surrendered by her owners at a local shelter. She is a 2 ½ year old Neapolitan Mastiff & weighs in at a comfy 145 pounds! Chloe was pretty stressed at the shelter having never been confined before. Now that she has been at one of our vets for a week, she is doing much better. She loves to run around outside and play catch-me-if-you-can. When she is tired, she will head back to the door to let you know that she is ready to go back inside. She takes treats ever so gently from you and is fabulous on a leash!

Chloe would do best as an only dog (might possibly be OK with a larger male dog) and an experienced owner. No children or cats. Chloe needs a foster or forever home with a family that is experienced with the Mastiff breed. Although there are so many gracious people wanting to help a big girl like Chloe, she really needs to go to an experienced Mastiff owner. Chloe has been boarding entirely too long now & it’s starting to take a toll on her. Having been raised since a puppy as a house dog, boarding has been extremely stressful on her and we are desperate to get her into a foster home and ASAP. If you cannot foster and still want to help Chloe, she could definitely benefit from walk and time out of the kennel. She is boarding out near Sugar Land and they have fenced in yards at the facility if you are interested in visiting with her. It would be a great benefit to her health to have walks more often!

Chloe is fully vetted and just missing a foster home or forever home! If you can foster Chloe, please Dana Dicker right away at dana.l.dicker@gibraltarmortgagesvcs.com or info@scoutshonor.org. To read about Scout's Honor's adoption procedures, to fill out an application for Chloe, or to make a donation for Chloe’s care, please visit our website at www.scoutshonor.org. As always, Scout's Honor pays all costs associated with fostering, and if requested, the foster can receive a tax deduction receipt from Scout's Honor for all of his or her own documented expenses related to fostering.
