My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Rachel and what I want more than anything else is my very own forever family. I have been a good puppy this year, or at least tried. It was really not my fault that I ate my foster mom’s new shoe – my older, much wiser foster sister started it! So technically it was not me. I have not had any accidents in the house. I always let my family know when I need to go out. I am still learning how to walk on leash without pulling – that is really not an easy thing to do for me – but I am trying. I am probably not the most graceful of puppies, but my foster mom still calls me ‘twinkle toes’. I would like to have another dog in my new family but if the humans are around a lot, I would be loyal and fun just for them!

Don’t get me wrong - I love my foster family – but I REALLY want my forever family.

Rachel is now in Maine and would love to meet you! Please visit our web site here to find out about our adoption process.

**Please note: we do not have a physical location, we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.**

Thank you for considering rescue!
