My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Please note: we do not have a physical location, we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.**

Meet cutie pie Roxyl! She is about 6 months old (as of mid-May).

Here is a note from her foster mom: "She is too cute! She's doing great, getting along well with the other dogs, and totally loving the cat. Today her and the cat were "wrestling" together. Working on house breaking. We've been taking her out about every two hours, and she's doing well. Spent the last two nights in her crate, and settled well after a few minutes of crying. She really wants to be with people, and will follow you from room to room. She's not real sure about a leash, but she's adjusting."

Here's another update: "Roxy is doing great! She's sleeping well at night in her crate. So far she knows sit and come. When we are outside she'll be running all around playing with the other dogs, but she comes every time we call her. She hasn't had any accidents in the house in about a week. Sometimes she'll even go to the door and stand there. We know that means she has to go out. I can't think of one bad thing that she does. Anything she does it exactly what you would expect of a puppy her age. (Such as grabbing a shoe and walking off with it!)

We are working on lay down. She'll get it, but with the four dogs it's hard to have one on one time.

She'd certainly be a great addition to someone's family. She seems to be very smart and learns things fast. Roxy is somewhat submissive and shy with new people but progress is being made as she is now enrolled in a puppy play group!

Roxy's foster mom shares: "Roxy did great this weekend!! With 6 adults, two kids and 5 dogs, she stayed very busy. She was a little shy when we first got to my folks, but with all the dogs to teach her she warmed up fast. She spent almost all of Saturday and most of Sunday running around in the grass, playing fetch and chase with the other dogs. She met the chickens and pigs, and hardly paid any attention to them at all. My parents have about huge hay fields around their house, and it was so funny to watch Roxy running through the fields, the grass was taller then her and at times all you could see was her tail!"
