Brody's Story...
Brody was born on St Patrick’s day 2011, so of course he has an Irish name. He has an inquisitive personality, and is always trying to jump the gate to get out of his foster room to explore and meet the other cats he knows are out there. He is a light colored tabby, with a beautiful face (his new picture is not the best). It doesn’t appear that he is going to be a large cat. He has a sister named Bridget who is almost identical to him, except for their faces. He has a more Siamese looking face. Brody is very sweet and enjoys laying on the floor by his foster mom, getting pets and scratches. He and his sister are close, and would love to be adopted together, but it is not absolutely necessary. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brody, a Montgomery Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Montgomery, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Montgomery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montgomery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montgomery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montgomery paves the way for another one to be saved.
