Dillon's Story...
Dillon is a little character – he insists that the dry food belongs on the floor and not in the bowl, and as soon as food is put in there, he will “dig” it out and eat it off the floor. He is a cute as can be tabby with white markings and the most adorable face. He was born the end of March 2011 and has a brother named Magic, who is solid black. Dillon is a little skittish with strangers – when he was rescued from outside at 5 weeks old, we had to take a porch apart to get to him. He was very scared then, but he has settled down a lot with loving care, and could be an excellent kitty for the right family. It would be nice if he could go to his new home with one of the other kitties he is used to, but with a little patience he would be fine with another kitty. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dillon, a Montgomery Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Montgomery, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Montgomery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montgomery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montgomery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montgomery paves the way for another one to be saved.
