Pickle's Story...

Pickle is about 3 years old. She came from a bad situation, not sure if there was abuse.

Pickle used to have a hard time with the kids, but through lots of time and attention she is GREAT with the kids now. They still have to be gentle with her, but she has gotten used to their loud voices and noises. She has really transformed into a very loving and well behaved kitty. She has very good manners as she does not climb on any counter tops or tables, and I find her sleeping on the bed or a cozy chair or wherever she finds a quiet place. She still has what sounds like a stuffy nose, but it does not bother her as I think she doesn't know any different. She is an absolute love and more than your typical cat. She will take attention from whomever will give it. We moved to our new house, and I wasn't sure what to expect as she had such a hard time when she first came to us. She did fantastic!

FURR is a 100% volunteer organization. Every penny donated goes to paying our vet bills, caring for our cats living at Petco and TNR. Our adoptions fees don't come close to paying the bills. Please help us save more lives. FURR is a 501(c)3 organization so donations are tax deductible.

It is now kitten season and we are in dire need for more foster homes. Please contact us if you can foster a litter of kittens, bottlebabies or a mom with kittens. FURR pays for all vet care at our partner vets, and experienced foster parents are available to help the newbies through the joys of raising kittens. Fostering is fun, wonderful and saves lives.
