Kaleb's Story...
Kaleb is a two year old, male American Eskimo. Go to www.atailtotell.com for an application. Poor little Kaleb. He was running along route 322 when I saw him. Shortly after seeing him I saw a big hand made sign at the end of a driveway. The sign said: Free - white dog. I drove down the driveway and found a lovely property. In the front yard I noticed a man with a hose. I asked him if the dog that had followed my car was in fact the (free dog). He replied: yes, that's him. Take him. Ironically a woman leaving the house asked my volunteer for credentials
She stated that Kaleb was her daughter's dog and she wanted her daughter to know he had been properly placed. Hmmmm- what part of the hand made sign assured them they would find reputable people to take him? Anyway- Kaleb is now with us. We had him fully vetted and he is so ready for a REAL home and family. Kaleb is an awesome little boy with long white hair and beautiful brown eyes
Kaleb is available for adoption and I can assure you we will do more than hang a sign to find this guy the right home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaleb, a Mt Gretna American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Mt Gretna, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Mt Gretna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt Gretna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt Gretna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt Gretna paves the way for another one to be saved.
