RIVER is a super sweet, beautiful, mixed breed dog.
She looks like a smooth collie possibly mixed with a Rhodesian Ridgeback, she does NOT had the ridgeback coat, more like the smooth collie in texture.
she is about 55-60 lbs, fully grown, and appx. 1 year old.
She loves all living things, and wants to play with everything. River has been around other dogs-all sizes from a Chihuahua to a Newfoundland-and does fine. She is very submissive, and lets you do anything you want to her, her favorite position is on a lap and belly up on her back.. Cats are not a problem, although she chases them it is only with the intention to play, not to injure. She loves all people, including children, but doesn't know her own strength and might accidentally push a child over (although she never has. She has been around children as young as 7). River is spayed and up to date on all of her shots (the vet said she was in perfect health and weight), and is on HW preventative Interceptor and Frontline Plus flea/tick control. She is crate and potty trained, although if she doesn't get out in time she can't hold it, but she whines at the door to let you know when she has to go. She can sit on command and will answer to a whistle or her name-she will come running full tilt if you squat down and hold out your arms to her.
RIVER is a LOVING SWEET girl, and would love a forever home, and a family to adore.
She has a gentle temperament .
She was from a loving home, and was never abused , she has no issues, - she is still young at 1 yr old, LOVES to chew but as long as she has the proper chew toys she is fine.
* she will chase horses, so a family with horses in the yard will not be a good match.
This is a PERFECT family pet that will love and devote herself to you forever.
FULLY fenced yard required. NO E fences - please don't even ask.
