Mick's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Mick's Story...
Mick as in Mick Jagger is back by popular demand...well, sort of!! Arriving as a very young puppy with 5 siblings end of 2010, Mick was quickly adopted out and initially was having a total blast in new home. As he got older however the chaos in the house became overwhelming for him and he became fearful and lost his confidence. Mick is now back at CFC and in a calmer environment where his roommate is mentoring him so he can be at his best again! Mick will act like a little shy guy when you first meet him BUT in a short period of time, his tail will start to wag and he will become your best friend. He is already a skilled leash walker and is extremely sweet, sensitive and gentle. A quiet home environment will make this brindle boy one dynamite pet!
DOB: 11/15/11

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mick, a Palmyra Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Palmyra, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Palmyra.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmyra already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmyra breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmyra paves the way for another one to be saved.
