Tucker's Story...
Tucker is a sweet 7 year old male Doxie. He loves a laid back lifestyle and gets along well with children. He likes to be a bit bossy around some dogs, so he probably would like to be the only male in a home. He currently is in a foster home with chickens and even gets along well with them.

He arrived in rescue a bit overweight, but is slowly trimming down to a healthy weight. He likes small walks and quiet times on the couch.

Tucker is neutered, UTD on all his vaccines and will be microchipped before he is adopted. His adoption fee is $250 and helps to ensure that we can continue to rescue dogs in need like Tucker.

Thank You for considering a rescue as your next family companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Graham Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Graham, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Graham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Graham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Graham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Graham paves the way for another one to be saved.
