Celia URGENT's Story...
We love this girl and surely wish we had a better picture. She is so sweet, young, not even a year old. We saved her literally within minutes as she was one of a group of five dogs set to be put to sleep solely due to crowding. SOLELY. We lost the other four and are heartbroken.

Celia is a medium sized lab mix girl. She has a lab body and hair length (short) and a lion sweet chow type face. A sweet girl who sat patiently in her kennel with another dog, just waiting and hoping for someone..

We have rescued her but she still sits in a kennel, alone. And deserves so much for more than that. We are open to foster, certainly, to get her started on her way in life.

Near San Diego.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Celia URGENT, a San Diego Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
