Oh how cute Sandy is! Her eyes are truly mesmerizing as is her loving personality. When we saved her from the kill list it looked like Sandy had given birth to quite a few litters in her life. I'm happy to say that Sandy's puppy making days are behind her now. Now Sandy just needs a loving home and some daily walks to help her lose some of that "baby/puppy weight!"
Sandy has captivated many of our volunteers with her loving nature. Here are just a few of their comments:
"Sandy sure does remind me of our lab. Cute and a bit on the chubby side. She is a very sweet girl, enjoyed being out although we didn't go too far as it was getting hot. We took a break in the grass where she enjoyed attention and was generous with kisses. Sandy is a great companion."
"I took Sandy to my house where she could have the bedroom and bathroom for quiet areas and the backyard to explore. Sandy is most affectionate and likes to be by your side or in the same room as you are. She will give you her paw when you hold out your hand and walks by your side. We took a nap together on the floor. This is a dog who enjoys the company of humans."
"One look at those big brown eyes and I knew I was going to have a great day."
Sandy needs a home with daily walks to help her regain her girlish figure, playtime in the pool would be an added bonus for her. She is happy to play with just about any toy that you toss her way. A loving home that will spoil her for all the days of her life is just what this beauty needs. If that's your home, please fill out an application for her today - www.azrescue.org.
Sandy weighed 85 pounds when we saved her from the kill list.
