Suki's Story...
Please contact Jennifer (saturday320399@hotmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Suki is a little on the hyper side, just a little over a year old.  She is really quite sweet when I pick her up she will give you a nose kiss.  She likes to play but doesn't really like to be held very long.  Suki still lets out a hiss every once in a while towards the kittens with whom she is sharing her room, but she is tolerating them.  She doesn't really play with them though.  She would definetly do best in a home where she is the only cat, unless you want to put in some time to try and have her get along- but it might not happen with an adult cat.  She still hates all the cats in her foster home.  She's spayed and up to date on shots and is in a foster home.

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption Process

Every kitten is tested for Feline Leukemia and adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All cats are de-wormed, de-fleaed and have received a Distemper vaccine. With every adoption, we work with you to ensure every phase of introducing your kitten or cat into your home is smooth and pleasant.

Step One
After you have found the perfect fit, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. Your responses are reviewed and if the fit is good for both you and the kitty or cat, you move on to the next step which is the Adoption Agreement.

Step Two
The Adoption Agreement is the binding contract between you and Kindred Kitties for the adoption of your new family member. A tax deductible donation to Kindred Kitties is requested. You will be given a Certificate for a free health check and if the cat/kitten is not yet spayed, you will receive a Spay/Neuter Certificate offering discounts at a number of local veterinarians.

One Cat (over 1 year old) = $60.00 or two for $100.00

One Kittens (under a year) = $80.00 or two for $120.00

If spay/neuter date is within two weeks of adoption date, it will be included with adoption fee.

Step Three
Make sure you have everything you need for your new family member before you bring your kitten or cat home. A volunteer will be able to assist you. Here is a list of things you will need:

Litter pan, litter and scooper
Food (dry and/or wet) appropriate for the age of your kitty
Food and water bowls
Toys (for socializing)
Bed or blanket
A quiet secure room for them to become acclimated with their new home
Lots of love and affection
