Rey the Lovebug's Story...
Rey was rescued from the AC&C where he was on death row - and for no good reason! He's a real lovebug, well-socialized, and healthy! We know there's a home out there for him here!

Rey’s incredibly mild-mannered, very social and is a sponge for love and affection. Amazing on the leash, completely housebroken, agile and just an all around dog dog. He'd thrive in a home that will run/bike/blade with him (tired dog is a good dog) and enjoys learning things - last night my brother taught him how to run alongside his skateboard in minutes. We know Rey is going to make someone really happy - he is so ready for a home...can you open yours to him?

Rey is somewhere around two years old. He is neutered and vaccinated and ready to go!

Thanks so much for thinking of a rescued animal!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rey the Lovebug, a Brooklyn Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
