Malone's Story...
My name is Malone and I am almost 2 years old. I am very beautiful. I weigh 38 pounds but my rescue group is working hard to put some meat on my bones, I love playing - toys - exercise - leash walks and everything great on this earth. I was supposed to be put down at a high kill shelter but then a lady in rescue found out about me and took me under her wing. I am fully vetted and ready for adoption. Please go to: www.atailtotell.com and fill out my adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malone, a Mount Gretna Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Mount Gretna, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Mount Gretna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Gretna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Gretna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Gretna paves the way for another one to be saved.
