Poochee is your typical, adorable, designer-dog. He has a lovely soft curly coat and is both non-shedding and hypo-allergenic. He has known nothing but love his entire life and it is with great heartbreak that his family are needing to find him a new home. He is friendly, affectionate and an all around great little companion. He is 9 years old (which for this mix breed is still only mid-life) and weighs approximately 20 lbs.
Poochee has come from an adult only home and has not been socialized with young children. For this reason we would ask that he only be placed with adults or children 12 and over. He was raised with other dogs and cats and had no issues and quickly made friends with all in his foster home. He was a little nervous with what was expected of him when he first came into his foster home but once he understood where to go and what to do he was no problem. He loves being petted and is a very affectionate and sociable dog.
Poochee is very quiet and well behaved in the home and would be an ideal candidate for someone that wanted to take their dog to work. He loves going for walks and is a hardy little dog that would enjoy playing with other dogs at the dog park. His coat is easy to manage but he will need regular grooming to keep him looking tidy. He is a great companion for someone that would like to have a loyal and loving pet to keep them company.
It is obvious that Poochee has been well loved and well cared for throughout his life. His family did not have him neutered as they saw no need or any issues that would push them to do it however he has had regular veterinarian visits and is up to date on all his vaccinations and is in excellent health. He will be neutered prior to adoption.
Poochee has been living in a condo in down-town Toronto so he is familiar with the sights and sounds of city life. He is a companion that would be easy to care for and a loving and loyal pet. He can be left for a normal working day with no issues or would be an easy dog to take to work with you as he is very quiet and well behaved. We were told that he has some fear of thunder and (apparently) back yards although he is going out in the backyard currently at his foster home with other dogs. He was raised with a cat and is fine with the cat in his foster home.
Poochee is your typical companion dog. He loves cuddling and being with his people, loves going for walks, and loves hanging out around the home. He will play with toys if you want to play with him but doesn't generally play with toys on his own. He is an affectionate little dog that makes friends easily and who would be ideal for a single's companion or with an adult couple.
