Evander's Story...
Knock, Knock. Who's there? Tail. Tail who? Tail all your friends Evander is looking for new home! Better yet just come on in and meet me yourself. I bet we can make a love connection. I am a friendly guy but sometimes my sense of humor fails me and I clam up when I meet strangers. I do have a great personality, I have had training and I walk nicely on a leash. I am crate trained and I play well with other dogs. I would love to find a new companion, a home with older children would fine by me. I have been waiting a long time- so knock knock. Come on in! 5 years old-73lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; current shots, neuter, microchip, 5 week training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam (in the SE Portland/Milwaukie area only), leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Evander, a Portland Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
