Bob's Story...
Bob is the most playful little puppy! So excited to be with people, he loves attention and is waiting on a forever home!

UPDATE: Bob is in foster care now (10/17/11) he is doing fabulous! He hasn't pottied in the house even once! He started to think about it one time and i just told him No and took him outside. I am very impressed with this. He loves his other two foster siblings. He gets a little annoyed with the boxer when she won't leave him alone and he is wanting to curl up for a nap. But other that he is a joy to have at home and is a wonderful cuddle bug at night :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bob, a Wichita Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
