Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tinker's care has been sponsored by a very caring and generous supporter of GPRCI. TINKER IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. HAVING BEEN A RESIDENT OF THE RESCUE FOR SO LONG AND WITH HER FEARFUL PERSONALITY, A CHANGE IN ROUTINE AND ENVIRONMENT WOULD NOT BE IN HER BEST INTEREST EMOTIONALLY. Tinker is approximately 12-13 years old and just didn't get the socialization she needed as a puppy. Her "special need" is her inability to trust people. She is very shy with people and probably always will be, but continues to progress little by little. Tinker, along with 150 other dogs, was taken by authorities in Missouri from a neglectful puppy breeding operation. She is happy, playful and comfortable here, and though our rescue kennels may end up being her lifetime sanctuary, we are hoping her special someone is still out there looking to rescue a special needs girl like her. If not, please consider sponsoring Tinker's vet care and housing with a donation. An all adult home, with secure fencing for outside time in addition to a resident companion dog will be required.
Please visit our web site at www.gprci.com for adoption information. Our adoption application can be completed on line or downloaded. A securely fenced yard is required for adoption of our rescues with very few exceptions.
Great Pyrenees Rescue of Central Illinois is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit and is licensed by the State of Illinois. Donations are always greatly appreciated and are used for the vet care, food and housing of the dogs in our rescue/sanctuary. Donations can be made at our website at www.gprci.com. via Paypal or mailed to: GPRCI, 15523 Old Colonial Rd Bloomington, IL 61705. Formal receipts for tax purposes are issued. Thank you for your support of rescue.
