My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there. My name is Alba. I have been raised around young children and small dogs. I do great with both. I even have shown a great affinity to help special needs children. I am calm with them and easily trained to pickup an item for them. So, maybe I have a special calling as an assistance dog?! I am ready.

I know the pictures make me look very big but, I am not. I am just about 45 pounds and about 24" to the shoulder. So, the perfect medium sized dog.

I love to romp and play with other dogs and even have a pit bull as a friend now. So, I can be good with any dog. I don't bark much (unless warranted) and know my place in the pack.

Don't you have a ball to throw for me. A child for me to care for? Come check me out. I know that you don't see the beagle in me but, mom was a beagle / pug / mutt. So, we know that much!
