Say hello to RJ! RJ is a 5 year old Boxer something mix (Mastiff? Great Dane?).
He is a big boy, weighing in at 80lbs but he is a big goofball and a gentle giant.

RJ was originally adopted from our partner shelter in the south when he was 8 months old. His previous owner lost her home and was going to have to take RJ back to the shelter. Well they couldn't let that happen so they took in RJ.
RJ has been treated for heartworm and he is already neutered.

RJ gets along with other dogs, but would do best in a home with a submissive male or a female canine friend. He previously lived with cats and kids. He is housebroken and crate trained.

He loves to ride in the car and go for walks.

A GREAT dog all the way around - especially for a family not up for training a puppy!

RJ IS NOT a guard dog and is used to living inside as part of the family.

RJ IS ready to go to rescue or find his forever family!

Like many of our adoptable cuties, RJ is with a partner rescue or shelter in the south. In order to bring him north, we need a loving indoor foster home to care for this sweetie while he waits for his forever home.
