My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY POST: PLEASE CONTACT SSADIEE71@YAHOO.COM OR MILNE7896@COMCAST.NET DIRECTLY.

Sweet Sundae was a stray that had wandered up to a strange house looking for some people to play with and love. They called some kind rescue folks who took Sundae to the shelter to see if she was microchipped and to wait for her family to find her. Sadly, no one came looking for this lovely girl!

She is currently in foster care with a kind but very busy family. They love her but would like her to be somewhere where she can get the attention loves. Sundae has been a mama in the past but is now spayed. Foster mom says: "We think she is about 3 yrs old. She is great around my two kids and any people she's come in contact with. I've been walking her and she does pretty good on a leash. After beeing cooped up in a kennel with no exercise for 2 weeks she actutually is doing wonderfully on a leash. She has such a cute personallity. She has a little gravelly voice and is not loud but when you baby talk to her or take her picture she puckers up and starts singing. She is passive with humans and often rolls on her back. She appreciates pets and attention and is a total sweetheart. Her time at my house she's been living in my garage with a side yard run. She hasn't chewed or dug or been destructive in anyway. I don't know about her indoor manners. This pup deserves a loving home she is a giving, sweet girl. :-) "

Sundae loves playing in the water and loves to play catch with a ball. She is very expressive and affectionate. Towards humans she is very passive and submissive. She is learning her "sits" and "lay downs" listens when you ask her to stay or to go away. She has never displayed any aggression. She is not food agressive nor is she agressive in play. You can look in her mouth and touch her feet..pads etc...she just wags her tail and rolls over. Seems like she would be a good family dog.

Sundae has been living in the garage & outdoors as the family's house dog isn't very friendly to her. She might need a refresher course on house training but should learn quickly with the right guidance.

Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
