Lady Godiva's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Lady Godiva's Story...
Lady G is a beautiful animal - hence her name :o) Just look at those soulful eyes. She's two and half years old, spayed and up to date with her vaccinations. Right now she is a little heartbroken. We can tell she is still waiting for her owner to come back for her... but she is great with all people and is a sweetheart and will make a great forever pet in a loving household. She's a little too strong for small children, but under adult supervision or if they are teens it should be fine. She does okay with dogs if introduced slowly, but she can play rough - hey she's a puppy at heart! Lady G is housebroken and non destructive (except for shoes LOL - she loves to chew on shoes so make sure you put yours in your closet - it's nice to be neat anyway). Lady Godiva is very affectionate and would love to be home for the holidays. She weighs around 45-50 lbs. If you would like some more info, please email bobbicares2@aol.com. Please download our application from www.bobbicares.petfinder.org and email it to bobbicares2@aol.com as well. Thank you so much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady Godiva, a Freeport Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
