Cracker's Story...
Cracker arrived here on our farm June 2010 starved, covered in rain rot & just needing some love. She is an 11 year old grade mare. She's a sweet girl who suffered catastrophic injuries when she was under two years old. These injuries left her with one hoof cracked into the band & part of the heel on the same side on the back leg gone. Cracker is solid & can be ridden for pleasure and requires no supportive treatment other than regular hoof care. She can't be ridden for sport, such as jumping, barrels, etc., but is solid for pleasure or trail. She stands solid under saddle and has only been ridden western here. Cracker needs a life long, loving home that wants a good trail or pleasure horse. There is an adoption application, adoption contract and a adoption fee of $300 with a non refundable deposit if under hold on application process. There is no application fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cracker, a Wesley Chapel Grade was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Grade for sale in Wesley Chapel, or seeking a Grade from a breeder in Wesley Chapel.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wesley Chapel already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wesley Chapel breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Grade breeders who help with Grade rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wesley Chapel paves the way for another one to be saved.
