Kittens's Story...
Every Rescue Person has a story. Miss Kitty was trapped as part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) project in Barnegat. She and her family were all due to be spayed and neutered and returned to their caregiver on Monday May 9th. Miss Kitty had other plans - when the rescue person who trapped her went to check on her Mother day's morning she got a surprise - kittens! Happy Mothers Day!!

The foster home family just loves these gorgeous babies and is holding them and kissing every day.

These precious babies will stay with their mom until they are eight-ten weeks old. They will be brought to the vet for their first round of shots and testing and then be available for adoption.

If you would like to adopted kitten pls contact Maria at 732.261.8944 or onebyonenjcatrescue@yahoo.com. An adoption application and adopttion fee are required.

Pls note that OnebyOne policy prohibits kittens from being adopted into a single cat home. We strongly believe that in order to live a social life kittens must grow up with other kittens or other cats already in the home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kittens, a Barnegat American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Barnegat, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Barnegat.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Barnegat already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Barnegat breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Barnegat paves the way for another one to be saved.
