My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shantilly
4 yo Female Tortie Persian

OK. That's it! I want to speak to my agent! I've been makin' babies for 4 years and this is the picture they put up on the web? Give me a break! I am beautiful. And I'm nice. So, I hiss at the other cats a bit. I'm a tortie. I have "tortitude". No drama, it's just a fact. Torties are special and need special homes that understand that we're special. Have I made myself clear? The great news is that I've got a wonderful foster mom who's planning to take some MUCH better pictures and put them up for me. She thinks I'm wonderful. As soon as I visit the "spa" I'll stop making babies and start making a beautiful coat for you to comb every day. I'll love it and so will you. I'm the greatest.

This beautiful cat came to us when a CFA breeder had a health crisis and had to rehome her cats. They are in beautiful shape and their breeder did "the right thing" by finding them safe places instead of dumping them in a high kill animal shelter somewhere. All of these Persians were well cared for, and have never been exposed to shelter viruses. They were kept in cleanly, outdoor habitats during their lives as breeder cats. They are fostered in private homes and kept away from any cats that have come to us from shelters. Most have been well socialized around other cats, as well as dogs. All will be altered prior to placement and brought current on their vaccinations. These photographs were taken while the cats were still in their original environment. These cats are not being caged, nor are they allowed to be out of doors. Placement will be to indoor only homes.
