I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Frieda's Story...
Frieda is a happy go lucky spayed female calico with personality to spare! She is an all-around winner - she has beautiful markings, a plush medium coat, and a personality that would melt any animal lover's heart. She was dropped off at the facility and it is very difficult to understand why someone would abandon such a wonderful cat.

Freida is petite and her unique calico markings give her face human-like expression. She is as playful as she is loving, too. If you're looking for a cat whose personality is as wonderful as her appearance, Freida is the ideal cat for you!

All cats with the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, on flea prevention and tested for FIV/FeLV. Adoptions come with a small bag of Hill's Science Diet food and one month free of pet health insurance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frieda, a Greenville Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Greenville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Greenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
