Lucky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lucky's Story...
Lucky is a young and healthy, 2 1/2 year old, chocolate Lab/Pointer mix. He is in great health now that he's gained weight (was about 35 lbs underweight when found), and has a wonderful temperament. He thinks everyone is his new best friend, and he is very outgoing and social.

His foster home says he is very mellow and easy going and is a wonderful dog indoors. She says he heels on leash, knows all his basic commands, and is housebroken (can use a doggy door too), and crate trained. He gets along great with other dogs, cats and children. His foster family said he would be the perfect dog for any home looking for a sweet natured companion, even a first time dog family, or one with smaller kids.

If you are interested in meeting/adopting Lucky, please go to www.utahlabrescue.com and fill out an online application, thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Provo Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Provo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog from a breeder in Provo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Provo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Provo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Provo paves the way for another one to be saved.
