Treena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Treena's Story...
Treena is a 1 year old mixed breed terrier - possibly Cairn and Wheaten Terrier girl weighing about 20lbs. She is has a playful personality and loves to "talk" to you so that you or a doggie friend will play with her; however it's a very quiet little sound. She loves to lay in front of a fan to let her hair flow. She does well with dogs her own size (but is a little timid of dogs larger than her at first) and is good with children of any size. She loves toys and is still very 'puppyish' and playful! Treena likes to cuddle on the couch if you let her. She is housebroken.

Treena has been examined by a vet, spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She has also been fecal tested (and dewormed if needed) and heartworm tested. An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.

The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com.
The application can be emailed to Nicole at nswick@gmail.com.
The adoption fee for Treena of $275 covers all vetting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Treena, a Plainfield Wheaten Terrier/Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Cairn Terrier for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
