Olivia's Story...
Olivia is a terrier/feist mix. She was born around January 2011 and is spayed and up to date on shots, and has been kept up to date on heartworm prevention since she was a puppy. Olivia was rescued with her four siblings(all already adopted) from under a trailer. Through no fault of her own Olivia was brought into this world because her mom was not fixed; this poor sweet little girl has never known what it is like to have a family of her own and she can not figure out why all her siblings have already found homes and she has not. Olivia is good with other dogs, cats, and children. Are you the one to finally show this girl how wonderful it is to have a family of her own?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Baton Rouge Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Feist for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Feist dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Feist breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
