Suki's Story...
Suki (or Suzy Q, as I call her) is a 3 year old Palomino Chinese Crested. She weighs approximately 7lbs and is an absolute love bug. She likes to snuggle and would be extremely happy just to sit in your lap all day. Because of her size, I don't feel that she would do well in a house with small children. It is quite possible that if she was put in the stressful position from the kids that she could bite. This breed is high maintenance requiring weekly baths, lotion and daily sunscreen to protect their skin. She is a true hairless so she will not require any shaving to be done to her body although you can shave her muzzle to keep a more hairless appearance. Contact Jamie at for an application to adopt Suki.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suki, a Whitewright Chinese Crested dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinese Crested for sale in Whitewright, or seeking a Chinese Crested dog from a breeder in Whitewright.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whitewright already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whitewright breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinese Crested breeders who help with Chinese Crested rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whitewright paves the way for another one to be saved.
