Oscar's Story...
Oscar is a 7 year old Doxie He has a great personality, loves attention and really loves going to the dog park. He is great with other dogs and ignores the cats. Oscar loves to cuddle with you and loves to always by your side. He is crate trained and house broken and even knows how to walk on a treadmill! He listens great. We believe Oscar would be best with an older person. He can be protective of a home when someone new comes in but as long he has his own space that he can go too he is fine. He is a very loving and quiet dog that is a fabulous companion.

Please fill out our adoption application on www.JennysHopeRescue.com to be considered for this darling.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Mount Kisco Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Mount Kisco, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Mount Kisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Kisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Kisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Kisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
