Joker's Story...
Joker is a handsome neutered male white and gray cat with lots of love to share with his new family. He and his buddies, Bear, Batman, Robyn, Domino and Trouble, came to the Humane Society together when their owner's health declined and he could no longer care for them.

Joker is the unique one of the bunch as everyone else is black and white. Joker has a nicely marked gray - almost blue - and white coat with big yellow/green eyes to complete the package. His pictures don't even begin to do this handsome fella justice. He was much to intersted in being loved on or exploring to get a good shot.

Joker and his buddies are super kitties who deserve a new family to call their own. Come meet them today!

All cats with the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, on flea prevention and tested for FIV/FeLV. Adoptions come with a small bag of Hill's Science Diet food and one month free of pet health insurance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joker, a Greenville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Greenville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Greenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
