Mystique's Story...
Mystique and her 6 littermates were born into a loving family who can’t take care of them. They have lived indoors since birth, and are partially housetrained already at only 2 months old.
Their parents each weigh between 35-45 lbs.,so these adorable guys won’t get too big to be in the house. They are typical, healthy puppies who like to run, jump and play with each other, but being puppies, they like to sleep a lot too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mystique, a Houston German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
