Mystic (AKA "Misty" and "Lamb Chop") is an adorable 6-1/2 yr. old Powderpuff Chinese Crested. Although many of her relatives have long hair growing from the top of their heads with little hair any where else, Mystic is fuzzy as a cottonball all over. Since she has hair instead of fur, she doesn't shed like other furry dogs. She is very good for her bath and hair cuts. I clipped her hair to make her look like a lamb, which gets Mystic many compliments.
Mystic rides quietly in her crate while in the car. She enjoys long walks on leash, but is equally content playing in the house. She will entertain herself with dog toys, and has never chewed furniture or rugs. She gets along well with children and adults; her docile personality would make her a great dog for some one who never owned a dog. Because of her sad story (Mystic was thrown out like so much trash when her owner bought a giant breed puppy, "the dog of her dreams," that terrified tiny Mystic who cowered and shook in the corner - so it was she lost her home and her lifetime companion, another Crested Powderpuff), only a small, calm dog would be a considered a good companion for Mystic.
Mystic eats good quality dog food, and will beg and spin (like a circus dog) for something special like a baby carrot. She is current on vaccines, flea/heartworm control. Although she weighs only 8.5 lbs. and loves to be carried, she can bark like a big dog when she hears noise outside.
Mystic is being fostered near Moorestown, NJ and her asking adoption fee is $250.
